Right Here in My Own Song
This particular piece of “gear” was inspired by the Bouncing Souls song Kids and Heros and its message to always find the hero within yourself. I have been asked frequently on my social media chanels if I “make” bags because much of what I do is upcycling. This came about by challenging myself to be my own hero and to take the plunge and create something fun, different and on trend - all with my own two hands.
The result is, in my feelings, this very rad, studded convertible clutch/crossbody hybrid. Its crescent or “metal horn” ends hide d-rings which are perfect for fastening a strap, or they can remain hidden if carried as a clutch. Fashioned out of scrap leather this carry can take you from night out (to a gig perhaps?) to beer garden, to desert festival or the ever-so-glam grocery store. Because - you gotta be you.
Bag measures 12”L x 6”H x 1.75”D (interior capacity would fall in the small catergory)
Strap and Crowns & Cards (wallet) sold separately
Please note all items in the Lyric & Aster store are handmade. They are crafted of pre-loved, dead stock or salvage. Meaning they have lived a life before and may have small blemishes or scuffs, spots, mild unevenness rust or a touch of verdigris. These are not considered flaws due to a) the nature of each item and b) I myself am human, not a machine – all items are upcycled – punched, stitched, sewn by hand.
