“I’ve been staring so long…
…that I almost believe that they’re real”
Whilst Robert Smith may have been singing about a past love, these straps will have you singing about their versatility AND adjustability. Composed of preloved camera straps and remnant leather these over the shoulder/high crossbody, brightly patterned wonders will add bright flair to whatever you carry - even if it is a camera vs. a bag (you may need spring rings for older style cameras).
I love them for warmer weather and to add extra color, texture and pattern to my carry (I especially love them on a belt bag). Summertime ease at its finest - even for goths (haha).
Each strap at its longest measures approximately 45” long and is approximately 2” wide. As a fun detail, some even include the elastic loops used for film canister storage.
Please note all items in the Lyric & Aster store are handmade. They are crafted of pre-loved, dead stock or salvage. Meaning they have lived a life before and may have small blemishes or scuffs, spots, mild unevenness rust or a touch of verdigris. These are not considered flaws due to a) the nature of each item and b) I myself am human, not a machine – all items are upcycled – punched, stitched, sewn by hand.
