This is my favorite line from Daytona Sand - a song off of Orville Peck’s incredible spring 2022 release, Bronco.
I’d say that line rings true in life or decorating a bag. Approximately six months ago I reached out to my social media followers to ask general opinion about how this preloved, vintage Coach Dinky should be decorated. This was before I made L&A an actual “thing”. I polled about different materials and this combination of tan speckled cowhide and embossed ivory crocodile won by a landslide. Dare taken!
I added some Spanish Basket Weaving in whiskey, copper and bronze, because Orville Peck would argue life needs a little glamour. Subtly western, subtly spicy, subtly sparkly and 100% perfect for to stow your identification, phone and keys. (P.s. Crowns and Cards makes a great small wallet to toss in this baby). A great lightweight crossbody for street, outdoor cafe, concert venue - wherever your walking shoes take you.
